Design Goals

We were quite intentional as a team when thinking about how we could provide the best experience for a player. While there are many variables that define the character of a guitar, we focused our efforts on three key design elements: tone, comfort and feel.

We wanted to design a guitar that creates a very natural and comfortable connection between guitar and player.

We wanted to achieve a tone that could best be described as where warmth and clarity intersect.

And we wanted to design a guitar that immediately feels "right" in the player's hands.

Use the tabs below to explore our Design Goals.

The interior of the guitar is almost completely hollow, with just a small block under the bridge. The block is part of the back wood, left after the rest of the wood has been carved away. The top is then laid down over the block and rims, and steam bent to conform to the body rim curves and create the arm contour.
